Level Up Virginia (LUV) is a statewide initiative led by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) and the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). Our mission is to increase postsecondary readiness, enrollment and completion for all students in the Commonwealth. We’re committed to making college access information easily understandable and accessible for students of all backgrounds.
Level Up Virginia focuses on increasing college access for historically underrepresented and marginalized student groups, including but not limited to rural students, Black and Latinx students and students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. We recognize that these students face unique challenges in accessing and succeeding in postsecondary education. Our goal is to provide resources, support and information that empower students to overcome challenges and fulfill their potential.
